Educational Objectives

Both the Master of Science and Ph.D. in Technology Management are designed to help you identify, develop, and implement innovative technological based solutions. You’ll develop skills in managing effective planning and execution of technology based initiatives and integrate the results into the mainstream of enterprises’ strategy, processes, and operations.

Enterprises experience rapidly changing technology which offers both opportunities and threats. The Technology Management Program prepares you to identify and provide solutions through a combination of both technical and interpersonal skills.

M.S. Technology Management

After completing your degree, you’ll be a leader adept at managing technology change and skilled in establishing new ventures in your respective enterprise. You’ll learn how to create and sustain high-performance global teams and enabling innovation in the workplace.

Advance your studies and specialize in a number of concentrations such as: Global Management and Project Management, Manufacturing Management, Supply Chain, Logistics and Service Management, Quality Control and Continuous Improvement, Biotechnology Management, Information Technology and Big Data, Information and Cyber Security Management, and Technology Development.

Ph.D. in Technology Management

Our Ph.D. in Technology Management Program focuses on new technology for students already holding a master’s degree. You’ll focus on venture creation and select current and emerging technologies by combining research and management. An important aspect of this program is proficiency in oral and written communication skills.

The Ph.D. degree facilitates and encourages interdisciplinary studies across the School of Engineering and other schools to utilize their complementary research facilities, faculty, and lab resources. This highly recognized degree is a certification of critical aptitude in scholarship, creativity, knowledge in the discipline, enterprise in research, and proficiency and style in communication.
