At UB, we understand the value of gaining hands-on experience. As a Medical Laboratory Science student, you will complete 28 weeks of supervised clinical rotations in a hospital laboratory — earning you relevant experience in the field before you even graduate.

Accreditation

The MLS program has achieved national accreditation through the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS). As such, students who have successfully completed the program, may sit for the national certification examination offered by the Board of Certification of the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
