MS in Education
The Online Masters in Education, MS degree program is designed for professionals not seeking state certification. With a flexible curriculum, that allows you to take classes online, on your schedule, the program meets the diverse professional needs of teachers and other working professionals.
Candidates for this program include a variety of professional educators, including:
- Teachers who already hold certification
- International students who wish to teach outside the United States
- Individuals from fields other than K-12 education who seek to develop the theoretical knowledge and skills needed for effective teaching and learning while earning a graduate degree

The Soares Institute
The Soares Institute of Neuroscience and Education (SINE) is a digital and print resource center housed within the School of Education. It features original research instruments, open-access journals and publications, thousands of searchable databases and access to research studies in the field of neuroscience. SINE is involved in innovative research that will enable researchers and educators to map physically the brain’s neural activities. The Institute provides a spiral curriculum building from the basics of neuroscience in process, content, and interconnection of learning.
